In the sacred silence of farewell, Nicholas is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Nicholas' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Markionni and Guido Markionni (Skeezix). He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his daughters, Isabelle Saintina and Luciana Francesca; and his brother Robert Markionni (Lisa).
The lying in state was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Anthony Church (7639 W Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411).
With Nick's commitment to community, church, family and friends it is requested that in Lieu of flowers donations be made to the Markionni Family Trust, c/o Providence Bank, 23296 Sunburst Point, Frankfort, IL 60423 to ensure the continuing education of the girls in the areas of the Arts, Dance, Music & Theatre.
