With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard S. Shew (Frankfort, Illinois), who passed away on November 10, 2018 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Shew and Geneva Shew; his sister Shelby Shew-Bartlett-Evans; and his brothers-in-law, Cornelius Norman, Andrew Bartlett and Mack Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Shew (VanVuren); his children, Michael Shew (Michele), Michelle Shew, Jeffery Deichen and Jodi Gibson (Michael); and his sisters, Wilma Norman and Patricia Tilley (Daryl). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
