It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Lou Spangler (Franklin Grove, Illinois), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Davidson and Vera Davidson (Eddy); her former life partner Richard R. Patterson Sr.; her husband Orlando Spangler; her son Roger Patterson; her brothers, William Davidson and Vance Davidson; her grandchildren, Ricky Roberson and Crystal Patterson; and her sister-in-law Mabel Hauri.

She is survived by : her children, Richard Patterson, Jr. of Oregon, Mary Elizabeth Baldwin (Paul Philipps) of South Beloit, Catherine LaBar (Harry) of Mooresville, NC, Constance McFarland (Mike) of Raymond and LeeAnna Roberson (Rick) of Stillman Valley; and her brother Hugh Davidson of San Jose, CA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Franklin Grove United Methodist Church in Franklin Grove, IL.
