He was predeceased by: his former wife Virginia Puchner (Allen); his parents, Joseph Puchner and Helen Puchner of Wauwatosa, WI; and his siblings, Tom Puchner, Lorraine Puchner and Marge Treis.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Lind (Mitzi); his children, James C. Puchner Jr. (Tracy Penna), Mary Balk (Donald) and Peggy Abernathy (Bruce Zurek); his grandchildren, Abby Puchner, Michael Puchner, Ashley Wolski (Kevin), Kevin Balk (Annie), Aubrey Westafer (Aaron) and Dayla Abernathy (Brandon Robinson); and his great grandchildren, Hendrix, Payton, Julia, Suniya and Sage.
