It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight David Peterson (Freeport, Illinois), who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Peterson and Charlotte Peterson (Bennehoff); his wife Diane J. Kemp; his daughters, Lindsay Gall-McLaughlin (Matt) of Bettendorf, IA and Lauren Warner (Josh) of Eldridge, IA; his grandchildren, Alyson Gall, Kendall McLaughlin, Sadie Gall, Nora Warner and Jackson David Warner; his sister Colleen Groves of Freeport, IL; his brothers-in-law, Ray Kemp (Cheryl) of Huntsville, AL, David Kemp (Melissa) of Madison, WI and Michael Kemp (Kim) of Phoenix, AZ; his parents-in-law, Joe and Phyllis Kemp; and his siblings-in-law, David Groves and Susan Kemp. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hope Lodge of Iowa City, The Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research or to the family to purchase needed items for the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice Home.
