He is survived by: his daughters, Karen A., Portis Baker and LaFrancine F. Baker; his grandchildren, Alvin Portis Jr (Willona), LaNeosho Bradley (Michael), Kevin Baker and Alexander Portis; his sister Earnestine Norman; and his sisters-in-law, Magnolia McGee and Earnie Mae McGee.
