He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W. Sr and Goldie Gale Sr. (Boganrief); and his siblings, Fred Gale Jr. (Wilma), Gerald Gale (Judy), Sharon Symanek and Shirley J. Rucker (Gerald).
He is survived by: his spouses, Sylvia "Suzie" Shook and Suzie Gale of Freeport; his son Rodney J. Gale; his stepdaughters, Toni Gale, Amy Heck, Keri Freytag and Nicole Holmes; and his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Erica, Travis, Gage, Teddy, James, Cassie, Tyler, Paul, Lexie, Madie, Mylee and Bella.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
