She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Keeney and Lulu Keeney (Kenney); her spouse Merle E. Smith; her siblings, Dorothy, Hazel and James Keeney; her sister-in-law Gladys Keeney; her sons-in-law, Randy Slick and Bill Legel; her granddaughter-in-law Nancy Lewallen; her great grandchild Ethlyn Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Lodine Brittain of Eileen Hout, Clyde Brittain, Grant Kneller and Don Hout.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Meier (Huey) of Dakota, IL, Lyle Smith (June) of Lanark, IL, Jane Smith (Steve) of Milledgeville, IL, Judy Slick Legel and Robert Smith (Francine) of Morrison, IL.; her grandchildren, David Janssen (Bonnie Freidag), Susan Devine (Kerry), Shelly Mclain (Scott), Brian Barklow (Michele), Bradley Smith (Sara), Amy Enright (Tommy), Renae Bartels (Todd), Ron Slick (Casey), Amanda Hampton (Simuel), Lindsey Engelhardt (Jeff), Justin Smith (Stacy Tufte) and Jevin Smith; and her stepgrandchildren, Melody Horn (Pat), Kevin Lewallen and Misty Smith. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren, 6 step-great great grandchildren; brothers-in-law.
