It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen M. Thorn (Freeport, Illinois), who passed away on September 15, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen M. Thorn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her spouse LeRoy N. Thorn; her siblings, Donald Longamore, Dale Longamore and Della Kirkpatrick (Pearson); and her son-in-law John Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Russell (Michael Magno) of Freeport and Linda Jones (Michael Doubler) of Freeport; her sister-in-law Evelyn Thorn (Solace) of Bradenton, FL; her grandchildren, Renee Salazar, Stephanie Jones and Lori Jung; and her great grandchildren, Coty Salazar, Dalton Salazar and Christian Jung.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory.
