He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Jacobs and Bernice Jacobs (Shafer); his wife Joan of Lake Carroll; his son Mark Jacobs (Jenice) of Cedarville, IL; his grandchildren, McKinzie Rieck (Garrett), Miles Jacobs and Maggie Jacobs; his daughter Renee Houghton (Craig) of Rock City, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Sheets (Dan), Brittany Dwyer (Kevin) and Brandon Houghton; his great grandchildren, Cali, Kelsie, Wyatt, Grey, Bennett and Crew; his aunt Dawn Gibler; and his sisters-in-law, Janice O'Brien and Diane Rees (Steve).
