We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2019 we had to say goodbye to James L. Gastmann (Freeport, Illinois), born in Ridott, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gastmann and Bertha Gastmann (Shaffer); his son Tim; and his brothers, Gary and Paul.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Gastmann of Freeport; his children, Mark Gastmann of Rock Island, Robyn Schoonhoven of Rockford and Kelly Robertson (Donald) of Freeport; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Daniel, Elizabeth, Timothy, Jennifer, Donald III, Matthew and Stacey. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
