It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wm Withhart (Freeport, Illinois), born in Savanna, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred C. Withhart and Margaret Withhart (Marth); his wife Ruth; and his sister Mildred Fleishcer. He is survived by: his children, John Philip Withhart (Carol) of Denison, IA, Benjamin Fred Withhart (Laurie) of Shoreview, MN and Connie Lou of Mt. Carroll, IL; his niece Dr. Ruth Fleishcer; and his nephews, David Fleishcer and Dennis Plattenberger. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the First UMC of Savanna in John's memory.
