She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Meinders and Rose Meinders (Tentler); her stepmother Stella Meinders (Knox); and her husband David Shade. She is survived by: her brother Walter "Butch" Meinders (Jolene) of Shannon, IL; and her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Meinders of Freeport, Gene Shade of Freeport and Leonard Spratler of Freeport. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
