With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay J. Dirksen (Freeport, Illinois), born in Elizabeth, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Stadel and Nedra Stadel (Mitchell); her husband Harley; her great grandchild Josiah Alvin Roberts; and her nephew Ricky Stadel.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Roberts (Angie) of Elizabeth, Larry Roberts (Kathy) of Crystal River, FL, Dean Roberts of Elizabeth and Robin Schuman of Tacoma, WA; her stepson Jim Dirksen (Terri) of Freeport; and her brother Charles Stadel of Rockford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
