She was predeceased by: her husband Willie "Bill" Janes; and her brother Bobby Janes. She is survived by: her children, Judy Janes of Tinley Park and Michael Janes of Oak Lawn; her brother Bruce Janes of Freeport; and her grandchildren, Nathan Motykowski and Bryant Motykowski.
