He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kruse and Mabel Kruse (Bricklen); his spouse Evelyn A. Askey; his brothers, Don and Fay; his daughter-in-law Robin Kruse (Hayes); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Cross, Ben Flock and Melvin Pfile.
He is survived by: his sons, Dairy Queen, Leslie Jr. (Laurie) of Monroe, Wesley (Mondie) of Superior, WI and Arlie (Christine Vicari) of Fairfax, VA.; his siblings, Wilbur (Beverly) of Freeport, Dorothy Flock of Freeport and Loretta Pfile of Monroe; his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Kruse of Orangeville, IL, Charlotte Cross of McConnell, IL and Elaine Mayer of Avon Lake, OH; and his friend Elva Hermanson of Monroe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Friends of Pleasant View Foundation.
