She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Stanley and Edna Stanley (Shadle); and her spouse Joseph Powers. She is survived by: her nephews, Ronald Sandberg (JoAnn) of Bettendorf, IA and Robert Sandberg (Susan) of Rock Island, IL; and also, Vicki Bushelle of Freeport, IL and Mary Jane Kilburn of Oklahoma City, OK..

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory.
