It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gerald Reichert (Freeport, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 17, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Samuel and Catherine P. Reichert (Hellstern). He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Reichert (Haley); his daughters, Michelle Taylor of Kansas City, MO, Dawn Duncan of Freeport, IL, Jackie Meiborg (Fay) of Baileyville, IL, Kay Bourscheidt (Dave) of Peoria, IL, Darcy Montes (Eric) of Mason, OH and Kristen Andrews (Rick) of Freeport, IL.; his sister Jeanette Curran (Tom) of El Cajon, CA.; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Heidi, Austin, Jared, Jeffrey, Brian, Burke, Breckin, Evan, Matthew, Jenna, Haley and Allison.

In lieu of flowers a Michael G. Reichert Memorial has been established, to be divided amongst his favorite organizations.
