He was predeceased by: his father James Marcum; and his stepfather Alfred Shay. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Shay; his daughters, Emily Marcum and Jillane Fransen (Jason); his grandchildren, Zoe Klenz, Boden and Asher Fransen; his sister Beth Wilken (Clifford); and his sibling's children, Heather Foley (Dennis), Logen, Makenzie and Wyatt. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
