She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Mercier and Rose Ellen Mercier (Yankey); her husband John; her nieces, Sissy Farringer and Kimberly Mercier; her nephew Robert Anderson; and her son-in-law Michael Busker.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Busker of Freeport, Peggy Altman of Waco, TX and John Altman Jr. of Forreston; her grandchildren, Stephen Altman (Melody) of Chicago, IL and Mariah Altman of Forreston; her great grandchild Tyson Altman; and her siblings, Maryanne Anderson (Norman) of Milford, IL, Ruth Babler (Charles) of Mt. Morris, IL, William Mercier (Judith) of Freeport, Vernon Mercier Jr. (Vicki) of Freeport and John Mercier (Diana) of Gilbert, AZ. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Trinity UMC and Tri-County Christian Schools.
