He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Physician; his wife Sushma; his children, Anu (Jay), Bobby (Anu) and Tina (Ganesh); his grandchildren, Sachin, Leela, Ilan, Ayan, Sarine, Talin and Jiya; and his siblings, Anand, Sushil and Pratibha.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to either the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the Combat Blindness Foundation.
