He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jeannette Julia Galway, Wilbert Hyland Galway and Mary Virginia (Galway); his brother-in-law James Waterman; his brother William Patrick Galway; and his siblings-in-law, John Smith, Ralph Smith, Jr., Carl Kummer, Sheila Brazeal (Smith) and Maureen Wilhelms (Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Marg Galway of Freeport; his children, Theresa Ann Galway of Des Moines, IA and Patrick Sean Galway of Schererville, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Kummer (Smith) of Freeport and Leon Wilhelms of Freeport.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in his name has been established for the Freeport Catholic Schools.
