She was predeceased by : her parents, William F. Brown and Melba R. Brown (Buzbee); her sister Debbie; her niece Cherish Faye Gray; her nephew Jacob Allen Gray; and her close friend John Gibbs, Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Raymond F. Levey of Galesburg, John D. Gibbs, Jr. of Galesburg, Talia Gibbs of Galesburg and Vanessa Gibbs of Galesburg; and her siblings, Mark Brown (Ruth Ann) of Abingdon, Carlene "Linda" Rice (Dennis) of East Galesburg and Robert Brown (Sarah) of Galesburg. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
