Thomas of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Merle and Mabel Marie Thomas (Schmitt); and his stepmother Esther Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Karen Marie Schroeder; his children, Angie Niehaus (Wayne) of Pearl City and Mark Thomas (Tricia) of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle Niehaus, Andrew and Luke Thomas; his brother Bill Thomas (Kathy) of Oquawka; his friend Andy Tolle (Janet); and his close friends, Gregg and Judie Lewis.

Memorials may be made to the Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network.
