He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy A. Stinson and Mary Stinson (Wiles); his brother Phillip Stinson; and his former wife Linda Stinson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Stinson of Galesburg; his children, Pam Brown of Dahinda and Chris Stinson (Kitlynn) of Oneida; and his granddaughters, Mia Stinson and Holly Brown.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home - Knoxville (120 N Public Square, Knoxville, IL 61448). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Church of God (1080 Harrison St, Galesburg, IL 61401).
