It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette Whitney of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer D. Blackwelder and Pauline Blackwelder; her husband Edward H. Whitney; and her daughter Jackie Whitney. She is survived by : her children, Brad Whitney of Ft. Myers, Janet Bradley (David) of Las Vegas, Allison Berggren (Lee) of Ringwood and Bart Whitney (Laura) of Macomb. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Vitas Service- Hospice in Peoria.
