We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2025, at the age of 79, Jeannie Marie Shelton (Galesburg, Illinois), born in Forrest City, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jeannie Marie Shelton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darnell Walker and Corena Walker; her siblings, Cassell, Charles Page, Bennie Ruth Congress and Ann Johnson; and her half-sister Willie Nell Agnew.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Shelton; and her children, Yolanda Sanders (Edward), Lisa Chavis (John), Joan Shelton (Carlos Cabrera), Jean Joyce (Joseph), Charles A. Shelton, Eric Shelton and Melvin Dickerson. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
