With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Esther Bjorling (Galesburg, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Esther Bjorling to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin Stewart and Edith Stewart (McCulloch); and her son Paul Jay. She is survived by : her family Pilot Knob; her children, Mary Harlan of Oneida, Linda Main (Kevin) of Altona, Ed Bjorling (Jo) of Oneida and John Bjorling (Tanya) of Durham, N. C.; her grandchildren, Margaret Phillips (John), Janice Brattvet (Jim), Patrick Harlan (Eve), Emily Harris (Dave), Jason Main (Cari), Melissa Struble (Aaron), Corey Bjorling, Sarah Glessner (Joe), Tim Bjorling (Lindsay) and Stephen Matthews; and her husband Don.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Covenant Church (665 W Dayton St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oneida Cemetery (1195 Knox Rd 2500 N, Oneida, IL 61467).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Wataga Congregational Church.
