It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gibbs of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Carthage, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Eve Runyon Graham and Dr. Royal Runyon; and also Chuck. She is survived by : her children, Carolyn Gibbs Augustson of St. Paul, Minnesota and Chuck; her daughter-in-law Harriett Gibbs of Dallas, Texas; and her grandsons, Adam and Lauren Augustson of Jersey City, N. J.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Mary's life can be made to the Galesburg Community Chorus.
