It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Gonzalez of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Eulalio A. Ramirez and Guadalupe Ramirez (Perez). She is survived by : her husband Richard Gonzalez of Galesburg; her son Richard "Ricky" A. Gonzalez, Jr. of Galesburg; and her sister Jane Ramirez-Reyes (Genaro) of Moline, Illinois..

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Watson-Thomas Funeral Home & Crematory (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (2401 N Broad St, Galesburg, IL 61401).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
