He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Collier and Dorcas Collier (Gaither); his brother John Collier; and his father-in-law Raymond "Ike" Pierce. He is survived by : his wife Deborah Rae "Debi" Pierce; his daughters, Katie Elizabeth Silva (Nicholas) of Aurora, Colorado and April Michelle Collier of Aurora, Colorado; his grandson Finn N. Silva; his mother-in-law P. June "Bettie" Patterson of Galesburg; his siblings, David Collier (Ann) of Milan, James Collier (Carole) of Davenport, Iowa, Marcile Purcell (Audie) and Mary Smith-Uitvluat (Eric) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Patrice Collier of Milan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the concern for the safety of others, a time to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
