He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Baumgardner; and his siblings, Charles Fail, Evelyn Colgan and Bernice Baumgardner. He is survived by: his former wife Sheryl Sampson; his fiancée Joyce Norris of Galesburg; his son Ronald L. Baumgardner (Patricia Ryden) of Galesburg; his sisters, Karen Schowgo of Peoria and Joan Guilliams of Peoria; his grandchildren, Joshua Baumgardner and Erica Baumgardner; his great grandchildren, Logan Baumgardner and River Lee Yard; his pet Mandy; and his grandchild Princess.
