He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Koch and Alice Koch (Guse); his brother-in-law Ed Gahlbeck; his son-in-law Alan Rosik; and his grandson Matthew Rosik.
He is survived by: his grandmother Jean Stutte; his children, Michael Koch (Cammie), Rebecca Engelbrecht (Paul) and Jamie Irons (David); his stepchildren, Greg Evans (Donna), Kelly Rosik and Terri Tilbury (Laurence "Tilly"); his sister Linda Gahlbeck; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jasmine, Josephine, Johnathon, Kaitlin, Isaiah, Jacob, Charlene, Stefanie, Nick and Jenna; and his sibling's children, Sherry Jacobsen and Scott Gahlbeck. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In his honor and in lieu of flowers, memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church, District #2 and OSF Hospice.
