Melvina Cobb-Long Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvina Cobb-Long (Gardner, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her former life partner Cyrus Cobb; her husband Roy Leon Long; her son William Cobb; her brother Harold; and her great great grandchild Leeah Carter.
She is survived by : her daughters, Vickie Cobb (Arnulfo "Lobo") and Wanda Poulos (Ron); her stepchildren, Gary Long, Mark Long and Sandra Stephan; her grandchildren, Billy Manegold, Jr., Diane Lowery (Gary), Christine McCartney, Aaron Cobb, Sarah Corcoran (Tom) and Philip Salas (Amanda); and her friends, Sam, Patti Davisson, Patrice Shapen, Tom and Rose Hoyt. She is also survived by great grandchildren; (9) great-great grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren.
