It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William P. Hombaker (Gardner, Illinois), who passed away on March 2, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William P. Hombaker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Hombaker and Frances Hombaker; and his wife Rosemary Hombaker. He is survived by : his children, Nina J. Rose (Scott) and William Michael "Buddy" Hombaker; his grandchildren, Tabitha L. Boshears (Marissa), Jessica Gabehart (Al), Dannelle Boshears, Jacqueline P. Rose (Jeremy Cathom), Christopher K. Rose (Alli) and Kelly McCullough (Matt); his close friend JoAnne Lovstad; his siblings, Annetta "Blondie" Ross (late Dale), James Hombaker (Shirley), Robert Meyer (Melinda) and Paul Meyer (Sandra); and his siblings-in-law, Walter Niesluchowski (Rita), Edward Niesluchowski and Ruby Downie (late Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

William was proud to have attended the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, IL and his last request would be all donations in his memory be directed to the school, 125 Webster Ave., Jacksonville, IL 62650.
