She was predeceased by: her parents, William Houston and Florence Houston (Jenkins); her husband Frank Miskus; and her siblings, Frieda Mingee, Sonna Hart and Robert Houston.
She is survived by: her children, Lance Vascura (Denise), Donnie Vascura (Diane Fadl), Bobby Vascura (Michelle Hall) and Chris "Sissy" Long; her sibling's children, Sheri Mueller (George), Dottie Vrazel (Bubba) and Robert Mingee (Patti); and her granddaughter Erica Carwile. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to any human society.
