With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Edmund Lomax of Georgetown, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph R. Lomax and Edna M. Lovett Lomax; and his siblings, Ralph Lomax, Tom Lomax Sr., Edna Lomax and Janette Lomax.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Hathaway; his children, Bonny Dixson (Steve) of Gonzales, TX, William "Buzz" Roberts (Betty) of State College, PA, Eric Lomax (Phyllis) of Catlin and Marcus Hackman (Jill) of Catlin; his siblings, Bob Lomax (Dottie) of Florida, Jim Lomax (Betty) of Catlin, Oscar Lomax (Jean) of Fairmount and Peggy Myler (Richard) of Sidell; and his grandchildren, James Dixson, Jon Dixson, Joye Beard, Jason Dixson, Ryan Roberts, Rachael Roberts, Ross Roberts, Amber Plotner, Drew Lomax, Joshua Trimble, Ashley Baer, Byron Hackman and Brant Hackman. He is also survived by 34 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
