He was predeceased by : his parents, Melba Joyce Nearpass Smith and John W. Smith; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by : his brother Steve Smith (Cindy); his daughter Heather Finley (Chad); his grandchildren, Nora and Audrick; his niece Stephanie Bean (Brett); his great-nephews, Alec (Rachel) and Andrew Bean; his nephew Wade Smith; his stepdaughter Lisa Adams; and his friend Joe Kizer. He is also survived by family members and friends.
