He is survived by : his wife Donna Miller Bedell; his children, Merle Bedell (Kelly) of Delevan, IL and Mona Knight (Brad) of Armstrong, IL.; and his grandchildren, Traci Johnson (John) of Penfield, IL, Ryan Knight (Malory) of Armstrong, IL, Tyler Knight (Bree) of Urbana, IL, Amber King (Cameron) of Lake St, Bethany Bedell of Nashville, TN, Jesse (Marifi), Janai (Drew) and Logan (Rachel).

The family requests memorials be made to the Ellsworth Fire Department or to a charity of the donor's choice.
