He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Nettleton and Elizabeth Clark Nettleton; his wife Mary Jo Hillard; his son James Benny Nettleton; and his siblings, Lawrence, Maxine Behrens and Elva Flesher.

He is survived by : his sons, Gary Nettleton (Michele) of Saybrook, John Nettleton (Valarie) of Lincoln and Randy Nettleton (Julie) of Lincoln, Alabama.. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Gibson Area Hospital or to the Gibson City United Methodist Church.
