With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Meyer (Gibson City, Illinois), born in Sibley, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin H. Meyer and Rose Meyer (Martens); and his sisters, Elaine Sixt, Phyllis Lewis and Lois Meyer.

He is survived by : his mother-in-law Irene Shambrook (Johnson); his wife Irene of Gibson City; and his children, Kathy Wineland (George), Jean Krueger (Rick), Don Meyer (Diane), Randy Meyer (Leanne) and Lee Meyer (Tina). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private services were held on Saturday, December 5th at Rosenbaum Funeral Home in Gibson City with burial at Lyman Township Cemetery, due to Covid concerns.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Roberts or to Habitat for Humanity.
