He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard W. Bent and Needra I. Bent (Ott); and his wife Karen Sue Cowman. He is survived by: his son Jason Bent (Becky Ernst) of Knoxville, Illinois; his grandson Wade Bent of Knoxville; and his sister Pamela Crose of Galesburg.
