She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert J. Williams and Delma Mae Williams (Noegle); her former husband James E. Steele; and her son Jim "Buster" Steele. She is survived by: her husband Dale Schillinger; her children, Karen Klein (Anthony) of Fairview Heights, IL and Bob Steele (Dolly) of Pflugerville, TX; her grandchildren, Jimi, Adam, Sally, Djon, Djhonel, Shane and Kelly; her great grandchild DeJon; her sister Dorothy Plourde; and her daughters, Carol Beck (Tom), Gail Munneke (Mike), Jenna, Amy, Hanna and Ann.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Luke's United Methodist Church or the Parkinson's Foundation.
