She is survived by: her daughter Isabelle Aughanbaugh; her husband Jack; her sisters, June Mellinger, Jean Motter and Janet Schemine; her sons, John, Jr. and Doug; and her grandchildren, John, Patrick, Scott, Ian, Carys, Cailyn, Jaeger, Doug, Jack and Natalie.

In lieu of flowers, Joanne's family asks that donations simply be made to a charity of one's choice in her honor.
