With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John O'Brien (Glen Ellyn, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2018 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Kevin (Julie); his children, Sean (Kathy), Erin Basler (Steve), Kerry Ligenza (Amy) and Holly Ligenza (Tony); his grandchildren, Jack (Amy), Blake, Annie, Evan O'Brien, Jason, Morgan Fox (Samantha), Cassie, Carly Basler, Halley, Connor McLean, Michan O'Brien, Jessie, Mary Ann Ligenza, Anthony and Isabella Fox; his sibling's children, Tina Gentile, Deborah Golden, Alison Blaum and John O'Brien; and his wife Marguerite (Peggy).
