He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Highstone and Margaret; and his sister Susan Mello. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his daughters, Laura Hyde (Tristram), Ellen Sorensen (Michael) and Sarah Highstone; and his grandchildren, James, Ethan, Rebecca, Sofia and Alexander.
