With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Yvonne J. Pelafas of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Yvonne left this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Peter T. Pelafas; her children, Cris Grayson, Thomas (Ladonna) and Cathie (Chris); her grandchildren, Brad (Britney), Alex (Devin), Dana (Nathan), Peter, Jorie (Shane), Alexis, Carissa (Michael) and Shaley; her great grandchildren, Eleni, Jack, Reagan, Julius, Brooke, Ezekiel, Micah, Ezra, Aaron, Noah and Evelyn; and her brother Fred Hoffmann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams-Kampp Funeral Home (430 E Roosevelt Rd, Wheaton, IL 60187). A Mass was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James the Apostle Church (480 S Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Yvonne's memory to St. James the Apostle Church in Glen Ellyn.
