It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Masoud Akhlaghdoust of Glendale Heights, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Masoud departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Masoud. Though Masoud may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abbas Akhlaghdoust and Mahdieh Akhlaghdoust. He is survived by: his wife Srirerng; his son Elliot Wake (Ina); his grandchildren, Finn and Henry; his daughter Bethany Holubetz (Andy); and his siblings, Javad, Ety, Asi and Saeed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187).
