She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph and Marjorie; her former husband Robert Grimes; and her brother Wade Whitman. She is survived by: her son James Grimes (Diane); and her grandchildren, Travis and Kelly Grimes. She is also survived by many extended family, former students, and friends.
