With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. McCormick of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles J. McCormick; his brothers, Thomas McCormick and Larry McCormick; his mother-in-law Geneva Bush; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Bush, Denny Schetter of Dow and Chase Michelob.
He is survived by: his mother Ada M. McCormick (Robinette); his wife Donna K. Bush; his daughters, Erin DeVaisher (Jason) of Alton, Sara Wallace (Paul) of Alton and Laura Poole of Bethalto; his father-in-law David Bush (Judy) of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Katelynn DeVaisher (Brendan Lenhardt), Reagan DeVaisher, Hunter DeVaisher, Brandon Wallace, Jacob Wallace (Faith), Madison Wallace, Lucy Poole and Lawson Poole; his siblings, Sharon Swiney (Allen) of Palm Bay, FL, Mark McCormick (Cheryl) of Edwardsville and Scott McCormick (Joni) of Alton; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Schetter of Dow, JoEllen Bush of Alton and Gayle Lindsay of Granite City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
